Welcome to Midwest Technologies - LAGDG Webpage

LAGDG (Lawson Generation Data Groups) is a feature-rich, integrated FILE ARCHIVING solution for your Lawson Software batch and online programs. LAGDG ports the Generation Data Group (also known as MEMBERS) functionality that exists on IBM AS400 and IBM MVS infrastructure, to Unix and NT platforms, and strategically couples it with your Lawson Software investment. LAGDG will keep multiple versions (archives) of non-database related files. LAGDG supports User Name prefixing on these generations, allowing multiple versions of a given program to be run by multiple individuals at the same time, while still PRESERVING file uniqueness! Take, for instance PR160. This mission critical application outputs 3 flat-files (CHECKS, TAPE, and RECEIPTS). Using LAGDG, your company can now begin cataloging these files, saving up to 9,999 generations of each file.

From DESIGN, to CODING, to TESTING, to IMPLEMENTATION, the highest degree of thought and planning has been placed into our product ... making it an engineering marvel. LAGDG offers maximum flexibility, with minimal effort. Here are just a few of our bullet point items that both define and set LAGDG apart from every other file archiving system (download our PowerPoint presentation for a complete list):
